just so you know...

i was listening to "blessed be Your name" yesterday, and thinking about the lyrics (for the millionth time ) and i LOVE how it says:

"You give and take away

You give and take away

my heart will CHOOSE to say

Lord, blessed be Your name"

and i always think of mark darling saying that God's gonna do some taking, and then we'll see where our hearts are.

are you ready to say "blessed be Your name" to God no matter what?? have you found HIm to be utterly worthy of your trust no matter what is going on in your life??

today i read in job 26, and verses 12-14 say: " By his power the sea grew calm.  By his skill he crushed the great sea monster.  His Spirit made the heavens beautiufl, and his power pierced the gliding serpent.  These are some of the MINOR things he does, merely a WHISPER of his power.  Who can understand the thunder of his power?"

THAT is why we can TRUST God and THAT is why we can bless His name in any and every circumstance.  that infinitly powerful God is infintly more in love with us, and gives us ONLY the best!!!! He carries us, He loves us, He SHOWERS grace down on us.  "His understanding no one can fathom," He gives us peace in a chaotic world, He guides us, and He POURS out His love into our lives!!!!!!  He IS utterly worthy of our trust!!!!!

no matter what you're going through, if you keep your eyes open, you will see God through it all!!!!!!

so there's me rocking out on the bass the day before school started--that afternoon me and miss jennifer elizabeth went to chipotle for lunch, where we realized that we should do something CRAZY, being the last day of summer. and so we decided to jump in the pinery lake (aka the most dirty lake you will ever see in your life) (aka fully clothed in jeans and a t-shirt) (aka REALLY FUN)

then she did my hair, makeup and clothes and i pretty much felt like a model. and so yeah, it made a good last day of the summer day.

oh, and allison left today to go to csu, another best friend of mine. :( :( but we had a memorable last night:

i'm gonna miss her!! but GOd has AMAZING plans for her at csu, and i am beyond words excited to find out how He uses her there, and how she grows!!!

and i am excited to see how He uses us that are still in high school. each and every one of us has a sphere of influences whether we realize it or not, and GOd has specifically, beautifully placed us exactly where we are for a plan infintly better than what we can ever dare to dream of!!!!! (eph 3:20)

keep your eyes open for those opportunities He's given to you and only you!!!! pray HARD and then get ready to be AMAZED by His glory!!!!

well, today was the first day of school!! i've realized that God looks at me and sees a girl who can save a school of 2,000, but the devil looks at me and sees the same thing, and so he's been attacking me like crazy, so i could really use some prayers! pray through ephesians 6:13-21 for me, and just for protection and that i'll be able to fight back and that i will SEE GOD MOVE this year and that He will AMAZE me with His glory and leave me speechless from His INSANE victory!! and pray that our youth group will stay united, because i can't do this on my own. i need my brothers and sisters, as well as God's strength moving through us if we want to impact eternity.
